Our VISION is to promote the religion of Islam, improving interfaith community relations and providing relief for those in need throughout Nottingham.
MISSION
Our Mission is about WHAT we do to realise the Vision.
Our MISSION is to establish and maintain a Culture Centre in the Basford area of Nottingham to help facilitate Islamic religious practices, be a hub for fostering interfaith relations as well as providing a place of sanctuary and relief for those in need.
VALUES
Our VALUES define HOW we do things.
Basford Culture Centre Mosque will be:
- A place that promotes the values of kindness, charity, forgiveness, patience, perseverance and neighbourliness, in the spirit of Islamic teachings
- A welcoming place for people of all backgrounds seeking an understanding of Islam and Muslims
- A peaceful sanctuary where people can come to worship and gather in tranquillity
- A community-oriented place that brings together a group of worshippers who will be gracious and helpful neighbours to the surrounding local community and support an atmosphere of peace, tolerance and cross-community sharing
- A charitable place where humanitarian and charitable causes are supported
- An informative place where access to other community services can be acquired
- A place in Nottingham to work with young people to help them live an ethical life
